How to get to Medos Hotel?

From the airport: A direct shuttle bus (100E) operates between Liszt Ferenc International Airport and Deák Ferenc square in the city centre. Take this bus to “Deák Ferenc tér”, then change to metro M1 to “Oktogon” where you will get off. Walk a bit back in the direction of Deák Ferenc square on Andrássy út, and in two minutes you will find Jókai tér (square) on the right side.

100E bus ticket costs 900HUF (approx. 3euros)

You can also walk from the Deák Ferenc tér on Andrássy Street, it takes about 15 minutes. Once you pass the Opera building, the Jókai tér will be on your left.


From the railway stations: If your trains arrives at the Nyugati railway station, take tram no. 4 or 6 to Oktogon (one stop), walk about 2 minutes at the Andrássy street and find Jókai square on the right side. You can also walk as it takes only about 10 minutes to get here!

From Keleti or Deli railway station, take metro M2 to Deák Ferenc square, then change to metro M1 to “Oktogon” where you will get off.


The ticket for the 100E bus as well as all other transport tickets can be purchased from ticket vending machines. These machines can be found in many locations of Budapest (the airport, metro stations, tram stations in the city centre)
